Meet Dr. Anoop Takher, D.O., M.J.
Dr. Anoop Takher is a board-certified psychiatrist in Chicago, IL, with extensive training across adult, child and adolescent, forensic, and sports psychiatry. He is the founder of C3 Psychiatry, Department Chair of Psychiatry and Medical Director of the SPARK Clinic at Saint Anthony in Chicago.
A graduate of Campbell University School of Medicine, Dr. Takher completed his psychiatry residency at Western Michigan University, a child and adolescent fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Emory University. He also earned a Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) in Children’s Law and Policy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law—reflecting his strong passion for advocating for children and vulnerable populations.
Dr. Takher’s clinical work spans inpatient, outpatient, emergency, correctional, and community settings. He has completed over 100 forensic evaluations and frequently serves as an expert witness. Currently, he is expanding his practice to include sports and performance psychiatry, helping athletes and high performers navigate stress, pressure, and mental health challenges while protecting their wellbeing.
